Coastal Community Cleanup is an environmental organization dedicated to preserving and protecting coastal ecosystems by organizing clean-up initiatives in coastal and marine areas. Their mission typically involves mobilizing local communities, volunteers, and stakeholders to remove waste, debris, and pollutants from beaches, shorelines, and aquatic environments. These activities help reduce the environmental impact of pollution on wildlife, marine habitats, and local communities. They also aim to engage the public in sustainable practices such as reducing single-use plastics, promoting recycling, and advocating for better waste management systems. The community-based approach helps foster a sense of environmental stewardship and encourages collective responsibility for protecting coastal resources for future generations.
