
Clean Miami Beach: July Kayak Island Cleanup
Join us for an amazing day helping protect the ocean!

DATE & TIME: Saturday, July 26th from 8AM-11AM
IMPORTANT:
– closed-toed shoes or water shoes recommendedÂ
– bring your own reusable water bottle (no plastic please)
– cleanup supplies provided (sanitized gardening gloves and garbage bags)
– please wear reef-safe sun protectionÂ
MEETING POINT:
If you are bringing your own watercraft please meet at the launch site at Maurice Gibb Memorial Park. If you are renting a kayak please meet at the Biscayne Bay Paddle boards & Kayaks storefront.

Maurice Gibb Memorial Park: 18th street & Purdy Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Biscayne Bay Paddle boards & Kayaks: 1800 Sunset Harbor Drive, Suite #10, Miami Beach, FL 33139 (please note that the shop is located at the rear of the building facing the marina. There is NO entrance at the front of the building).Â
PARKING:
There is limited parking in the lot at Maurice Gibb Memorial Park, metered street parking in streets surrounding, and a parking garage nearby (1900 Bay Road).
Please be on time we will start promptly. If you are renting a kayak, please arrive by 7:30 AM.
🎉 The first two people to arrive will receive a free double kayak rental!
For everyone else, kayaks are available to rent at a cost of $72 per double kayak for a 3-hour rental (that’s $36 per person). Please note: Only double kayaks are available, there are NO single kayaks for rent. If you’re coming solo, we’ll pair you up with another participant.
Community Service hours available, must be on time!
Minors (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult.Â

Our public cleanup events are only possible through the support of sponsorships. Participation in a public cleanup is considered personal time and should NOT be considered a company event. Company shirts, uniforms, branding, recording or promotions by a business, corporation, or organization are NOT allowed. This includes on your website or in your social media accounts. Please do not violate these rules.
