EEL's Pine Rockland Cleanup at Larry and Penny Thompson Preserve

EEL's Pine Rockland Cleanup at Larry and Penny Thompson Preserve

Join the Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program to wrap up Pine Rockland Conservation Week (from November 10 – November 14) as we clean up one of the most iconic pine rockland’s in South Florida! Trash and debris negatively impacts our pine rocklands. Not only is it a hazard for animals and critters that call the pine rockland home, but it can also leach harmful chemicals into the soil, damaging our native flora. Removal of trash is the first step to maintaining our pinelands. Thank you for being an active steward of this precious habitat.
