Flip the Switch: Sea Turtle Beach Cleanup Series Nobu Eden Roc Hotel
Join Miami Beach Rising Above, MORAES of South Florida, and Nobu/ Eden Roc Hotels for the “Flip the Switch” Sea Turtle Beach Cleanup Series — an evening dedicated to marine conservation, community engagement, and protecting South Florida’s sea turtles.
Participants will enjoy a guided beach cleanup along 45th Street Beach, where they will learn about marine debris, its effects on local sea turtle nesting, and best practices for coastal conservation. Following the beach cleanup, volunteers are invited to a Happy Hour event where educational materials about sea turtles.
Whether you’re passionate about ocean conservation, interested in learning more about sea turtles, or simply looking for a meaningful way to give back to the environment, this event offers a hands-on opportunity to make a positive impact alongside fellow community members and conservation partners.
To help make the cleanup safe, comfortable, and enjoyable, we recommend volunteers bring:
- Reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Hat and/or sunglasses
- Comfortable walking shoes or sandals
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- A positive attitude and willingness to help protect our beaches and sea turtles!
Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early for check-in and event instructions.
