Homestead Bayfront Park Cleanup Keep Florida Clean | ICC2025
We are excited to announce our upcoming Homestead Bayfront Park Cleanup, and we invite you to join us in making a positive impact on our community and the environment as part of the 40th anniversary of the International Coastal Cleanup! At this event, we will come together as a community to clean up and preserve the natural beauty of Homestead Bayfront Park. Registration below is required to participate in the cleanup. Miami-Dade’s participation, organized by VolunteerCleanup.org, will feature 65+ cleanups all over the county with 4,000 volunteers. This year is the launch of Trashathon, a new fundraising concept where the community can make a per-pound pledge to support the overall cleanup effort. If you are unable to help clean up as a volunteer, you can still support the cause by making a pledge or sharing with others. Make a per-pound-pledge to support this organization here! This year’s t-shirt and rash guard are available for purchase. Order before August 30 if you want to guarantee your shirt arrives before the cleanup. For the cleanup, we will provide garbage bags, limited quantity of gloves, and data collection cards. *Community Service Hours* For those who are looking to earn community service hours, this is a fantastic opportunity to do so while contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment! Our team will provide documentation for your volunteer hours if your school hasn’t provided you with specific forms to complete, so please don’t forget to bring any paperwork with signature required.
