Kayak Clean-Up Hosted by The Brady Hunter Foundation in Collaboration with Clean Miami Beach
I hope everyone is doing great! I want to thank those of you who are coming to the cleanups today at Oleta River State Park. We will have two cleanups happening simultaneously. One cleanup involves kayaking to Raccoon Island, which is a lot of fun but also a more intense workout than cleaning up the park on foot. The kayak cleanup is on a first-come, first-served basis, so please arrive at 3:30 to register if you want to participate and ensure you secure a kayak. Please also fill out this waiver: [WAIVER].
We are also offering a cleanup by foot, which is less intense and does not require arriving early or filling out any waivers. Both groups will meet at the kayak area before heading out.
Remember to wear your favorite clean-up gear and bring a reusable water bottle. When you arrive at the park’s guard gate, mention that you are there for the cleanup to have your entrance fee waived. Then proceed to the outdoor center for parking and registration. Following the cleanup, we will all meet at the Mangrove Pavilion for BurgerFi.
Please let me know if you have any questions—I’m more than happy to help!
