MORAES Darwin Beach Cleanup ICC2026
Join us for the 41st International Coastal Cleanup—the world's largest one-day volunteer effort for our oceans and waterways! Show your commitment to reducing marine debris alongside millions of volunteers across the globe. Miami-Dade's participation, organized by VolunteerCleanup.org and Clean Miami-Dade, features more than 65 cleanups and 4,000 volunteers countywide. This cleanup is hosted by MORAES at Darwin Beach. Come make a difference while helping protect our local environment!
T-shirts with this year’s marine animal theme, the Humpback whale, are available for purchase. Order before August 30 if you want to guarantee your shirt arrives before the cleanup.
The Miami-Dade ICC is made possible by the generous support of our strategic level sponsors Ocaquatics, City of Miami Commissioner Damian Pardo, and Terra Group, with additional support from Climate First Bank, City of Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins, and PADL.
Important details:
- Registration is required to participate.
- Online waivers will be emailed immediately after registration.
- Gloves, garbage bags, and data collection materials will be provided. Community service hours are available.
- Please bring water in a reusable bottle to help reduce single-use plastic waste.
- Download the Ocean Conservancy's CleanSwell app to log and measure the impact of your cleanup.
- Dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes appropriate for this cleanup site.
- Sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen are recommended.
- If you have reusable work gloves, feel free to bring them, although gloves will be provided.
