Nobe - 72nd St. Beach Cleanup

Nobe - 72nd St. Beach Cleanup

Join our resident driven community cleanup on Sunday, April 6, at 9:30 AM at the 72nd St. Beach entrance for a Community Beach Cleanup. We need your help to keep our beautiful beach and surrounding areas clean!

We'll focus on clearing trash from the beach, the borders of the dunes, the Beachwalk, and nearby community spaces. Our last cleanup at this location resulted in over 400lbs of trash collected in just a few hours.

Certified Community Service Hours are provided on site to all volunteers. At the check in tent, you will be able to receive your community service hours after the event.

Please register in advance so we can ensure we have enough supplies for everyone.

Families and Groups are welcome! This is a great opportunity to spend time outdoors while making a positive impact on the environment. We encourage participation from all ages, and it's a perfect activity for kids to learn about the importance of keeping our beaches clean.

What to Bring: Just bring your enthusiasm and a refillable water bottle—gloves, bags, and cleanup supplies will be provided.

Let’s work together to leave our beach and community cleaner and healthier for everyone!

The Park View Island Sustainable Association is a neighborhood association in the Park View neighborhood of North Beach. Our Mission is to advocate for improved quality of life for North Beach residents while taking into account that we live on a chain of barrier islands, where sustainability should be at the forefront of most things we do as a City. Park View Island has had a 3+ year “No Contact Advisory” with the canal water surrounding our homes. We work with local organizations and city departments to advocate on behalf of these very important issues that are key to maintaining a clean and safe future for all Miami Beach Residents for years to come!
