Join our Rescue a Reef Ambassadors team for a volunteer effort for our oceans and show your commitment to reducing marine debris.
Rescue a Reef Ambassadors is a program aimed at creating a community-based ambassador program that educates, trains, and engages individuals (ages 15+) in coral conservation, outreach, and advocacy through science-based education and community action.
Ambassadors will help organize and lead the event, as well as being partially responsible for using the CleanSwell App to log collected trash. You do not have to be an Ambassador to register or participate in the event.
Important details:
- Download the Ocean Conservancy’s CleanSwell app to participate in the Citizen Science activity to log, tally, and measure the impact of your cleanup
- Dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear
- Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen are recommended
- Please bring water in a reusable container. Let’s reduce waste and refuse single-use disposable plastic water bottles
