SeaKeepers x MORAES Margaret Pace Park Cleanup
Come join SeaKeepers and MORAES of South Florida at Margaret Pace Park for a coastal cleanup on Sunday, May 25, from 9am-11am. Weather permitting, we will clean the whole park, including the grass, rocky shoreline, and surrounding streets. This park is located right on the edge of Biscayne Bay, where trash can enter the water, endangering local marine life.
MORAES of South Florida is an environmental research organization located in Miami, Florida founded with the intent to inspire and retain local marine ecologists. MORAES is committed to the understanding, viability, and protection of our local marine environment through conservation, research and environmental stewardship.
In order to participate in the cleanup, all volunteers must complete the mandatory Liability and Appearance Release Waiver. Waiver completion is a requirement to volunteer with us, and doing the waiver ahead of time will speed the check-in process.
