Spring Break 'Keep The Beach Clean' Engagement
Join us in a ‘Keep the Beach Clean’ engagement where we will kindly remind beach-goers to put their trash in the can, and not the sand. We will be working in teams of 3-4 as walking billboards using signs with positive messaging (developed by City of Miami Beach), handing out bio-degradable garbage bags to those with a mess around them, and a small cleanup crew patrolling the waterline to protect the ocean. We’ve done this in past and it works really well. The territory we will cover will be between 5th street and 15th Street. Community Service Hours offered. This event is done in combination with City of Miami Beach.
NOTE: City of Miami Beach implements parking restrictions around the Entertainment District (Ocean Drive) during high-impact weekends to minimize day-trippers from non-residents. We do NOT recommend driving to Miami Beach if you are not a resident, and instead suggest Ride Share, Public Transport or biking. We will bring all the supplies, and you wear comfortable clothes for taking a walk on the sand and bring a smile and positive attitude.
